Porsha-Shaf’on Venable is Deputy Director of The Juror Project and a Board Member of BPDA. A licensed attorney and social worker, she has served as a defender and team leader with the Bronx Defenders and the Neighborhood Defender Service of Harlem. She trains defenders and legal advocates nationwide on jury selection, nullification, and trial strategy, and her work is rooted in expanding civic participation and building community power.
